About the Art

My work delves into the microscopic as a means of interrogating identity, perception, and the structures that bind them. By embedding narratives and desires into forms inspired by the unseen world of microbiology, I create sculptures that invite dialogue between the macro and micro, challenging assumptions of complexity, scale, and power.

At its core, this practice is both intimate and subversive—intertwining the organic with the explicit, the erotic with the grotesque. Sexuality is central, with forms that pulse with charged, often vulgar energy, asking the viewer to confront their own boundaries and biases. This unapologetic exploration is rooted in queer theory, particularly interpellation, which reshapes identity by hailing it into new, sometimes unsettling contexts.

The microscopic realm becomes a stage for this interplay of desire and creation, reflecting the vastness of human experience while refracting its smallest, rawest truths. Through this lens, my work seeks to dissolve hierarchies of scale and meaning, offering a visceral meditation on the entanglement of form, identity, and the boundless possibilities of perception.
